Seeing the sites!
So yesterday was a bust as far as sight seeing. Today, a co-worker suggested I check out Baltimore, Maryland and the inner harbor area. So off I went…
I drove past the USS Constellation, then Parked on the 8th level and walked back over… it’s an impressive looking wooden ship. Too bad the tours all close long before I can get anywhere. I would have liked to walk onto the ships in the harbor. They had more than just this one ship, but I didn’t take a picture of the coast guard ship, and I didn’t take the water taxi around the harbor as they were ignoring lots of stops it seemed. I’ll have to come back some day and be able to take the tours where you can board the ships!

They had a submarine, the USS Torsk.

Before I left for the evening… i took a shot of what the area looked like at night from the 9th level of the parking garage.

I would have said something nice about the food….but the “nice” places I wandered up to were all closed because of a water main break in the area. Potbelly Sandwiches was open, and I was hungry. I got a regular Italian on wheat…(It’s like Quiznos). That was that…headed back to the hotel, printed my boarding pass to London and Stuttgart. So, don’t expect any updates until probably Saturday sometime…I’ll be tired.
